The origins of Dili Café was minded by the two friends Bruno Costa the coffee producer living in Ilicinea city in Minas Gerais state and Joaquim Farias commercial expert living in Atibaia city in São Paulo state, depsite almost 500 kilometers apart, we deicided to start a small specialty coffee brand in downtown Atibaia estate of Sao Paulo, aiming to produce and offer high quality coffee to home buyers, coffeeshops and restaurants interested in high quality products. First encoutered hurdle was capital to make the dream come true, one month passed by until we came up with a business plan wich we presented to almost 70 people, reaching the mind and heart of two angel investors Luis Rodrigues and Renato Chalita, they provided us enough money start the business.

After creating the brand, website and personalized package, we invested a great amount of time and energy to make sure customers understand what specailty coffee is all about, our birth date is April 2020 (covid-19 pandemic year), not an easy year to start a business, but we prevail, due to the hurdles we faced for almost 18 months, on December of 2021 we decided to open our first coffeeshop, to make sure consumer market understand we offer the best of the five quality coffee categories (Extrastrong, Traditional, Superior, Goumet and Speacialty Coffee).

In order to enrich customer experience and enhance better quality to our coffee, we assembled our micro-roasting place with one Diedrich IR7 roasting machine, on December of 2022, since then we increased our production capacity and quality of our products, allowing us to test our products on international markets.

On February of 2024 we received an invitation to visit Greece with the porpose to present and commercialize our coffee to european market, may this event the stepping stone of whole new challenge for us as a small high qulity coffee company.
